Piano FiascO

...it supposed to b Yamaha Music School ( we even registered for july intake oredi ) but i found out about this AST Music ( they share the same parent company with her ballet class), n unlike Yamaha they doest mind to teach kids who r not even 4 years old yet. so sah2 la i m super xcited sbb mia ni nk sgt2 main piano. sedangkn ibu n ayah langsung tatau about piano or music. furthermore, Yamaha held this Junior Music Course for 4 to 6 years old in groups with parents participation. whereas at AST Music it is one to one learning. xke ibu lg xcited mendengarnye.

so fes class was on 6th May at 12 noon. Registration fees + books around RM 300 n monthly fees is RM 100. the class is for 30 minutes, once a week.

so when we showed up, all eager n xcited, this young female teacher took mia to the class n just about 10 min later kluar dan bgtau mia is not ready for piano because she cant write numbers n music notes. it is a waste of money n she thinks we shud try again when mia turns 6 or 7 years old. n then i asked mia;

ibu: did you play a piano?
mia: no. teacher ask me to write only.

pheww! i told the teacher thats when we signed up, they said age is not a matter. beside, i do not send her to write but to play piano. n then she wanted to talk to the owner n xplained why mia shudnt joined the class.

they all go "cong ceng cong ceng" and the owner said that we shud try for a month. n suggest us to buy another book. n the owner xplained that the teacher will teach how to play piano not how to write a number or music note. n then i asked the teacher weather shes willing or not to teach mia not according to her syllabus. i do not need her to teach mia how to write bcos i oredi payed a lot of money to the qualified teacher for that! ( yg ini dlm hati je la ).

masuk dlm kete, me n hubby sambung diskas n decide that nk bg peluang sampai june since fees sume dh bayar. comes july we will join Yamaha. walopon begitu hati ibu ttp panas. i sumhow feels that the teacher was tryin to say det mia was not gud enuff to play a piano n she cant write eventhou she s goin to turn 4 years old in july. i know that writing is not mia's strong suit but the way she said det make me feels like a failure.

pity mia. all xcited before the class started.
